Tasting Notes

Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Jan 15
Good dark red. Slightly high-toned aromas of blackberry, cassis, violet and bitter chocolate. Rich, sappy and ripe on the palate, showing excellent definition to the rather powerful purple fruit and violet flavors. The long, rising finish features sweet, fine-grained tannins. This wine was in 50% new oak until the racking but is now in older barrels.
